Caesar salad in a new way: it's all about the dressing
Caesar salad is relevant at any time of the year. And if you want to add new flavors to this dish, experiment with the dressing. For example, add anchovies.
The idea of preparing Caesar salad with a special sauce was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Victoria Panasiuk (viktoria.panasiuk). The taste will be quite spicy.
Ingredients:
- romaine lettuce leaves
- half of a chicken fillet
- 10 cherry tomatoes
- 10 quail eggs
- 50 g of parmesan cheese
- 2 slices of toasted bread
Ingredients for the sauce:
- 4 pcs. anchovies in oil
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 clove of garlic
- salt/pepper - to taste
- 1 tsp. with a slide of sugar
- 1 tsp. mustard
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 150 ml of olive oil
- 20 g of parmesan cheese
Ingredients for the chicken marinade:
- chicken seasoning
- sweet paprika
- salt - to taste
- 1 tsp. melted honey
- 2 tbsp of soy sauce
- a little mustard - optional
Method of preparation:
1. For the sauce, grind the anchovies through a sieve, add grated garlic, salt and pepper to taste, sugar, mustard, lemon juice and combine.
2. Stirring vigorously, gradually add olive oil.
3. At this stage, the sauce will begin to thicken, the more olive oil you add, the thicker the sauce will be.
4. At the final stage, add grated Parmesan, mix and refrigerate.
5. Combine all the ingredients for the chicken marinade and marinate the chicken in them for at least 10 minutes.
6. Fry the chicken over medium heat.
7. Put the chicken on the lettuce leaves.
8. Top with chopped cherry tomatoes and quail eggs.
9. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
10. Fry the slices of toasted bread in butter and put on all sides on top of the salad.
