Broken Glass marshmallow cake: how to make it easy
You can just drink tea with sweet marshmallows or make a full-fledged cake out of this dessert. It will be very similar to Broken Glass, but it is much easier to prepare. There is no need to wait for different types of jelly to harden - just put the marshmallows with fruit in the mold.
The idea of making a marshmallow cake was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia with the nickname cooking.by.yuliia. Topped with airy icing.
Ingredients:
- marshmallows - 500 g
- bananas - 2 pcs
- kiwi - 2 pieces
- sour cream - 500 g
- powdered sugar - 50 g
- gelatin - 10 g + 30 g of water
- sugar - 110 g
- water - 30 g
- gelatin - 10 g + 30 g of water
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the marshmallows and fruit into pieces.
2. Soak gelatin in water.
3. Beat the sour cream with powdered sugar.
4. Pour in the melted gelatin (but not hot), the sour cream and gelatin should be at about the same temperature. Beat with a mixer.
5. Put the marshmallows in the mold first, then the fruit, and spread the cream over everything. Repeat this process.
6. Put the cake in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to fix it.
7. Soak gelatin in water. Add water to the sugar and bring to a boil.
8. Combine the syrup and melted gelatin in a bowl.
9. Beat with a mixer until the mass increases and thickens (you can add a coloring agent).
10. Remove the cake from the mold and immediately pour the prepared mass, as it thickens quickly.
11. Put in the refrigerator for about an hour.
