Basic sausage Chebureki: tastier than a hot dog
Everyone is used to eating Chebureki with minced meat. But you can also make them with sausages. The dish will be similar to a classic hot dog, but much tastier.
The idea of making basic Chebureki with sausages was published on the Instagram page of food blogger Yulia Mikulich (yuliia_mikulich). Instead of a soft bun, the dough will be very crispy and cold.
Ingredients:
- flour - 200 g
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- sugar - 1/4 tsp
- water - 100 g
- vegetable oil - 20 g
Ingredients for the filling:
- sausages - 7 pcs.
- Korean carrots
- mayonnaise, mustard, ketchup
Method of preparation:
1. For the dough, combine the flour, sugar and salt in a bowl. Stir in the dry ingredients.
2. Pour in the oil and water. Knead a soft, non-sticky dough. If it is sticky, add a little more flour. If it's dry (won't come together into a ball), add a little more water.
3. Put the dough in a bag and leave it for 30 minutes.
4. For the filling, cut the sausages.
5. For the sauce, combine mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard.
6. Divide the dough into 7 equal balls.
7. Thinly roll each ball into a circle. Add flour if the dough sticks.
8. You can roll out the dough on paper, so it will be more convenient for you to lift the finished cheburek later.
9. Put the carrots on one side of the circle.
10. Lubricate the carrots with the sauce.
11. Put the sausages on the sauce.
12. Cover the filling with the other half and join the edges.
13. Heat a frying pan with oil (there should be enough oil).
14. Fry the Chebureki on each side until golden brown.
15. After cooking, put them on paper towels to absorb excess fat.
