A unique girl named Tessa Evans was born 10 years ago in Londonderry, UK. At the fifth month of her pregnancy, her parents learned that the fetus was developing with an abnormality and that the girl would not have a nose after birth.
This is a very rare disease that occurs in only a few people around the world. Although there is no threat to Tessa's life, she has faced many challenges. The British girl's journey to recovery is shared by her family on social media.
After the birth, the child was transferred to the intensive care unit, where a tracheotomy was performed to facilitate breathing. Also, at eleven months old, Tessie had to undergo cataract surgery.
The girl has to breathe through her mouth, because she simply does not have holes for this in the place where her nose should have developed. For the same reason, Tessa cannot smell anything.

However, the girl's parents are not discouraged and hope that they will be able to solve this problem by installing an implant. They will be able to do this only in adolescence, when the face stops growing.
Then parents want to use cosmetic intervention to make the child's profile more familiar so that he or she does not feel self-conscious. Now Tessa is being given all the support and love she needs to feel comfortable.
