Singers Shaman, Gagarina and Okhlobystin hit by EU sanctions: now "I Am Russian" will be performed in friendly countries only
The European Union has imposed sanctions against the brightest personalities in Russian show business who support the war and dictator Vladimir Putin. Starting June 24, 2024, they will have to earn bloody rubles in Russia itself and in their biggest "partner" countries North Korea and Iran, where the singers are hardly known.
The list, published on the official website of the European Union, includes Shaman, Polina Gagarina, Vyacheslav Manucharov, and Ivan Okhlobystin. All of them expressed their support for the occupation regime with their words, if not with their own demonstrative actions. For this, they were added to the Myrotvorets database long ago.
Since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, Okhlobystin has been trying to draw Russians' attention to support the war by organizing propaganda concerts and later even visiting the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories.

It got to the point where the scandalous actor and Putin fan, who recently "caught a bullet" in Donbas, said that his eldest son Vasily went to the front to kill Ukrainian soldiers. The propagandist himself assured that every man should go through this "school of life," so he supported his descendant's choice.
Polina Gagarina does not shy away from bloody rubles. She willingly performs at propaganda concerts and rallies in honor of the annexation of Ukrainian territories and other "holidays." In particular, the artist became the best Russian singer in 2024.

Yaroslav Dronov, known by his stage name Shaman, can also be found in Myrotvorets. He glorifies Putin with his "art" and shouts endlessly how proud he is to be a Russian. Russian propaganda has "drugged" him so much that he was even a proxy for the dictator's pseudo-election. Like other Russian "stars," he traveled to the temporarily occupied territories to give concerts and openly supported the war.
