A year ago, in January, I lost a very close friend, my brother, but my memories of him were so bright that somehow I couldn't cry until I wrote this song. My favorite co-author Tetiana Mylymko ("Kryla"), as always, brought my entire stream of emotions into order, and at that moment I cried, but again, with some light tears. Unfortunately, during this time of war, we have a lot of similar stories. The least we can do towards the people we loved and who died defending us is to remember, to recall, not to be afraid to love them, to love the memories of them, to recall their jokes, their musical tastes, to quote them. It helped me, maybe it will help you too. Write them a letter," the singer says.

Along with the track, Jamala presented a sensual lyric video. In it, the singer writes a letter in a location familiar to her fans from her video "I Believe in You".
