From Elizabeth II's pop art to the realistic Prince William and Kate Middleton: portraits of royals that amazed the world

Portraits of royalty have always aroused special interest and admiration among viewers and art lovers. From reproductions in classical styles to bold experiments with modern techniques, these reflections point to outward beauty and the zeitgeist and cultural trends.
