Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky held a new meeting of the Supreme Command Headquarters on 24 May. The key topics of the meeting were the provision of ammunition and the transition to new types of aircraft.

The president also heard a report on the operational situation at the front. Zelensky himself reported the details.

"Another meeting. The operational situation was reported by the Chief of Staff, the Defense Ministry's Main Directorate of Intelligence, and the commanders of the Khortytsa and Tavria United strategic grouping of troops. We heard from the Ministry of Defense about the status of ammunition supply to forward units and reserves. We analyzed the existing and potential contracts for supply and the dynamics of increasing our own production," emphasized the head of state.

The participants of the meeting also touched upon the issue of transition of Ukrainian Army to new types of aircraft. The need for a comprehensive concept of aviation development arose after the agreement of partner countries to transfer modern Western fighters to Ukraine.

"We started working on a comprehensive concept of our aviation development taking into account the transition to new types of aircraft. New organizational structure, training of pilots and personnel, necessary infrastructure, logistical support, etc.," detailed Zelensky.
