Occupants in Zaporizhzhia threaten to cut off electricity to Ukrainians who do not take Russian passports - National Resistance Centre

Occupants forcibly passport Ukrainians

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers are coming up with various ways to force Ukrainians to obtain Russian passports. For example, the invaders have initiated the "renegotiation" of electricity supply contracts, which requires Russian documents, otherwise they promise to cut off the electricity supply.

This was reported on May 16 by the National Resistance Centre on its official website. Recall that passports and other documents of the aggressor country issued by the invaders on Ukrainian territory (temporarily uncontrolled by Kyiv) are legally null and void.

The NRC said that to renegotiate the contract, residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Zaporizhzhia region need to have a Russian passport, identification code and documents for housing ownership. The occupiers give 30 days to complete all the documents and renegotiate the agreement. Then they want to disconnect the electricity supply to those who do not agree to the terms.

"In this way, the occupiers are making it impossible to live in the TOT without Russian ausweis," the press service wrote.

As OBOZREVATEL wrote:

- Earlier it became known that in the occupied territories of our country, schoolchildren who have not received Russian passports are not issued certificates by the invaders.

- In the Luhansk region, the passport of the so-called "LPR" is no longer acceptable to the enemy - people are being forced to obtain documents of the Russian Federation. If they do not do so, they are promised to be fired.
