Zelensky held a meeting of the military cabinet: Zaluzhnyi, Umerov, Budanov, and Maliuk presented reports
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a special military cabinet meeting. The participants discussed a plan for further actions at the front with specific deadlines and calculations and agreed on positions.
The head of state announced this on Telegram. He emphasized that the military command frankly discussed the most important topics during the meeting.
Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, Commander of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group of Forces, Andriy Hnatov, Deputy Commander of the Southern Operational Command, Major General Eduard Moskalev, Deputy Commander of the Eastern Operational Command, and Marine Corps Commander Yuriy Sodol made reports on their areas of responsibility.
According to Zelensky, the meeting was also attended by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Chief of the Defense Intelligence Service Kyrylo Budanov, and Head of the Security Service Vasyl Maliuk.
"The plan of further actions with specific deadlines and calculations is backed by supplies from our partners and our own production. Building up the capabilities of our defense industry. We have agreed on our positions. We are moving on," Zelensky said.
The day before, the president also held a daily conference call with the military command of the state. The participants discussed preparations for Kremlin terrorists' attacks on energy infrastructure. Zelensky assured that this year Ukraine would not only defend itself but also respond.
