"The tactics will be different." Yusov explains why Russia is stockpiling missiles and what targets it can hit
The Russian occupation army has changed the tactics of massive missile attacks on the territory of Ukraine. After the attacks on the energy infrastructure of our country did not bring the desired result to the terrorist state, everything related to the preparation for the Ukrainian counter-offensive will be in the crosshairs.
This was stated by Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, during a national telethon. He noted that the enemy troops took a break to accumulate forces for the next attacks.
Yusov emphasised that the energy missile blitzkrieg that the Russians used in the winter period was an absolute failure, although the terrorist state had spent a significant part of its missile potential.
"Yes, today the tactics are changing and this conditional break is used for accumulation, but the tasks will be different - these are largely not energy infrastructure facilities, but, for example, everything related to logistics, preparation of military targets in the context of attempts to disrupt Ukrainian offensive actions," he said.
At the same time, the representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine is convinced that Russia will not be able to restore the potential in terms of quantity and quality that has already been spent during the full-scale invasion.
Earlier, it was reported that Egypt suspended its plan to secretly supply missiles to Russia and decided to produce artillery ammunition for Ukraine. This happened after talks with US representatives.
The media called it a "diplomatic victory" for the administration of US President Joe Biden that Egypt postponed the deal with Moscow and approved the sale of 152-mm and 155-mm artillery shells to the United States for delivery to Ukraine.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL:
- Defence Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov confirmed the transfer of MIM-104 Patriot air defence systems to our country. They will protect Ukrainian skies from Russian missiles;
- Yuriy Ihnat, spokesperson for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the occupiers had stopped massive missile attacks on Ukrainian cities, as they had in autumn and winter, due to a lack of missiles. During the year of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor state used about 850 missiles to hit our infrastructure.
