The SBU exposed former Education Minister Tabachnik in collaboration with the FSB and an associate of Kadyrov: high-profile details of the case

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has exposed former Viktor Yanukovych-era minister Dmytro Tabachnyk in cooperation with the FSB and an associate of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov. The former minister of education and science of Ukraine, suspected of high treason, is in direct contact with a staff member of one of the departments of the Russian secret service, who coordinated Tabachnyk's subversive activities after the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russia.

In addition to organizing pseudo-referendums in the southern regions of Ukraine and reformatting education and medicine in the occupied regions for the needs of the Russian Federation, Tabachnik together with an associate of Kadyrov took part in the looting of temporarily occupied Melitopol, Zaporozhye region. What new evidence of the crimes committed by Tabachnik the investigation managed to get, the SBU said.

Thus, the Service found that his subversive activities against Ukraine Tabachnik carried out on direct instructions from the Russian FSB.

"Security Service investigators have uncovered new facts of criminal activity of former Minister of Education and Science Dmytro Tabachnyk, suspected of high treason. It has been established that he is in direct "communication" with a staff member of the 9th Directorate of the Department of Operative Information of the 5th Service of the FSB Oleg Kozlov. After the start of a full-scale invasion, the traitor coordinated his subversive activities against Ukraine with a representative of the Russian secret service," the SBU noted.

On the instructions of his handler from the Russian secret service, Tabachnyk actively participated in the organization of pseudo-referendums in the temporarily occupied Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions.

At the same time, he was charged with "reformatting" the educational and medical sectors to meet the needs of the aggressor country: Tabachnyk coordinated the conversion of most schools and hospitals in Zaporizhzhya into occupier barracks. In this, he was actively assisted by Gauleiter Vladimir Saldo of Kherson and Eugene Balitsky of Zaporizhzhia.

In order to enable the traitor to carry out the instructions of the FSB, since last fall Tabachnik was appointed "adviser" to Balitsky. Also, the former Ukrainian minister joined the local cell of Russian President Vladimir Putin's pocket party, United Russia.

In addition, according to investigators, Tabachnik did not forget about himself and his own enrichment.

Thus, together with Murad Saidov, Kadyrov's "overseer" in Zaporizhia, in April last year, Tabachnyk organized the export of agricultural machinery to the temporarily occupied Crimea from the warehouses of one of the region's agricultural holdings located in Melitopol.

Based on the evidence collected by investigators, in addition to the suspicion of high treason, Tabachnik is also incriminated with committing crimes under two more articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He is suspected under Article 111-2 (aiding and abetting the aggressor state) and Article 438 (violation of laws and customs of war).

Since last November, Tabachnyk has been listed as a suspect in criminal proceedings under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (state treason committed under martial law). After he was accused of treason, the SBU seized Tabachnyk's property worth over 2m dollars.

At the end of April, it became known that Yanukovych's odious minister became an advisor to the gauleiter of occupied Zaporizhzhia. However, the main task in his "position" is to report to Moscow about every move of the traitor Balitsky.
