Russia boasts of killing civilians in a missile attack: it reports about mercenaries from Denmark and Sweden

The occupiers began to justify the attack on Ukraine and claimed that they had attacked military targets

Russia boasted of a large-scale attack on Ukrainian cities on the morning of January 2, which resulted in civilian deaths and injuries. The Kremlin began to make excuses and claimed that they had attacked Ukrainian military-industrial complex facilities where missiles are manufactured.

The invaders also eliminated alleged mercenaries from Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, and Estonia in the Kyiv region. This was reported by Russian propaganda Telegram channels.

Thus, the Russian Ministry of Defense has officially announced that Russian troops did not strike civilian infrastructure but tardeted warehouses of missiles, ammunition, and aircraft, which, according to them, are supplied to the Kyiv government with the support of Western countries.

The Kremlin also boasted that four command centers and two hotels with mercenaries from Sweden, Denmark, Lithuania, and Estonia had been destroyed in the Kyiv region. The enemy's Defense Ministry claims that 78 people were killed in the attack. The occupiers also said they had destroyed about 1,000 missiles for the IRIS-T and NASAMS systems in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.

In addition, Russia boasted that they had allegedly destroyed a warehouse with 25 Storm Shadow missiles and damaged two SU-24 aircraft and a repair base in Kropyvnytskyi.

Earlier, it was reported that on the morning of January 2, the terrorist state Russia took 16 Tu-95MS bombers to the sky and launched missiles at Ukraine, including Kinzhal ones. They constantly changed their vector of movement, mostly heading for the Kyiv region, where they were eventually shot down.

As reported, during a large-scale attack in Kyiv on the morning of January 2, the occupiers hit a civilian infrastructure facility in the Podil district. In several districts, debris from the downed targets fell both on residential buildings and open space, fires broke out, and water supply lines and a gas pipe were damaged. There were victims and dozens of people were injured.

On January 2, a series of powerful explosions occurred in Kharkiv. The shelling killed one person and injured others. According to the mayor, Russian terrorists fired missiles at residential areas.
