It was an operation of the DIU and the SOF: new details of the "bavovna" on the railway in Belgorod region emerge

On September 10 , Ukrainian servicemen of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine together with the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine mined and blew up a section of the Stary Oskol-Valuyky railway in the Belgorod region of Russia. As a result, a freight train that met the logistical needs of the occupiers derailed.

OBOZ.UA learned about this from its own sources. After the railroad track exploded , 11 cars and the locomotive of the freight train derailed and overturned.

"The railroad artery in question is paralyzed, and a number of trains have been canceled. Work on weakening the aggressor state of Russia continues," the source said.

As a reminder, the explosion on the railroad in Belgorod region occurred in the evening of September 10. The Russian Federation reported that a freight train had hit an explosive device planted under a railroad track. Russian investigators opened a case under the article "terrorist attack."

Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that the accident occurred in the Novooskolsky urban district "as a result of illegal interference in the operation of railway transport." According to him, the railroad cars were allegedly empty. He also assured that there were no injuries, and trains are currently being sent around this area.
