DIU: Russia has no time to stockpile missiles due to constant shelling of Ukraine

DIU explains why Russia cannot accumulate a large number of missiles

As of now, the defense industry of the aggressor country Russia can produce more missiles than it did before February 24, 2022. However, the enemy fails to accumulate weapons because it constantly uses them to attack Ukraine.

Andrii Yusov, a representative of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, said this on Tuesday, December 19, during the Yedyni Novyny TV marathon.

"Yes, this is more than before the full-scale invasion... but it is still extremely insufficient to cover their expenses as a result of massive missile strikes against Ukraine," he said.

According to Yusov, in addition to missile production, Russia is making progress in the production of drones.

Currently, the Russian defense industry is working to cover the costs of the types and types of weapons used by the occupiers during the war with Ukraine, the DIU said. At present, Russia cannot return to the level of accumulation of most types of weapons that existed before the full-scale invasion.

Earlier, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the enemy currently has almost 1,000 high-precision long-range missiles.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, factories in Russia do not have time to produce as many cruise missiles for shelling Ukraine as the Kremlin requires. The orders of the terrorist state are more than three times higher than the capabilities of the military-industrial complex.
