Russian fencer Maya Guchmazova threw a tantrum after Ukrainian Olena Kryvytska refused to shake her hand at the European Championships, which started in Basel, Switzerland. The 32-year-old native of Vladikavkaz, who has been competing for the Georgian national team since 2017, cursed our compatriot and the judges.
Our fencer was stronger in the duel of the 1/32 finals and won with a score of 15:9 in the saber competition. Immediately after the fight, Kryvytska refused to congratulate her opponent and left the track.
In response, Guchmazova first expressed her dissatisfaction with the judges at length, and then switched to profanity. "F**k, why do they behave like this? F***, why can they do anything, f***? Are they f***ing crazy?!" the Russian native shouted in hysterics.

After that, Guchmazova was taken off the track. It is not yet known whether any sanctions will be imposed on her because of her stunt.
