The Russian national soccer team will hold a training camp without friendly matches, the Russian Football Union (RFU) communications service says. A meeting with the Pakistan team was most likely to take place, but it was canceled.

"During the October training camp, Valery Karpin's team will hold a master class for children from Belgorod and Kursk regions, and will also meet with fans at the Lev Yashin Dynamo Stadium on October 10," the RFU informs.

Russian soccer officials also said they are allegedly close to finalizing negotiations for friendly games in November.

"The opponents will be announced after the signing of the match agreements," the RFU said in a statement.

This information provoked hysteria among Russian fans.

As OBOZ.UA reported, a few days ago, after Pakistan and Zanzibar, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Brazil refused to play with representatives of the aggressor country.

On September 5, the Russian national team defeated Vietnam in Hanoi with a score of 3-0. Prior to that, in 2024, Russia played two friendly matches, defeating Serbia and Belarus with the same score - 4:0.
