Lomachenko broke his silence on social media for the first time in 2 months, posting a video in Russian

Former world champion in three weight categories Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs) published a new post on social media for the first time in more than two months. The 35-year-old native of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi congratulated his father and coach on his birthday on Facebook and Instagram. On December 14, Anatolii turned 58.

In honor of this day, Vasyl posted an archival video from 10 years ago, which shows all the major milestones in his development as an athlete. The video also features Anatolii Lomachenko himself and his wife Olena, along with their two children Anatolii (born in 2011) and Victoria (born in 2013).

The video features the Russian-language rap song "Bud Sylnishe" (Be Stronger) by Ukrainian artist MS-T (Anton Vilinskyi).

Lomachenko published his last post on Instagram on September 29.

His last post on Instagram on October 19 was a reaction to the adoption of Bill 8371 banning religious organizations in Ukraine with ties to Russia by the Verkhovna Rada. On his Instagram, the 35-year-old native of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi posted the results of the vote, saying "this world will not be the same..."
