First UFC champion from Russia says Ukraine is flooded with "rapists and perverts from all over the world"

Taktarov published propaganda narratives

Oleg Taktarov, the first champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) from Russia, has been known for his stream of lies about Ukraine while talking about the war. The former athlete, in the best traditions of Kremlin propaganda, made a speech about foreigners who allegedly invaded our country and are opposing the aggressors.

Taktarov said this in an interview with Russian propagandist Boris Korchevnikov on Russia 1 TV channel. The famous mixed martial arts fighter also shared "top-secret information" from the special services about criminals in Ukraine, and added that he had visited Kyiv a few months before the Russian invasion.

"I have some information that in fact rapists and perverts from all over the world are fighting in Ukraine now, as they have always been. Special services are now constantly finding facts of not just torture or murder, but perversion. In Ukraine, 1-2% of the most aggressive people have imposed everything that has been happening for the last 8 years on everyone else. These "westerners" have taken root. I went to Kyiv 3-4 months before February 24. The Ukrainian language was not heard on the borders even then. Some people spoke English, but I don't know any other languages," Taktarov said.

It is worth noting that Taktarov actively supports the war and has also allowed the possibility of killing Ukrainians: "If something escalates into something and we have to take up arms, we will be like everyone else."

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, during his stay in Mexico, Oleg Tartarov was attacked, which he called the work of a "supermafia group".
