Yaroslava Mahuchikh, the Olympic champion in high jump, tried on the role of a railway worker. Our titled athlete appeared as a conductor on the Intercity Zaporizhzhia-Kyiv train as part of a campaign organized by Ukrzaliznytsia.
Yaroslava posted a video on her Instagram where she is wearing a burgundy suit and yellow tie, checking tickets, communicating with passengers, and doing everything that an ordinary conductor usually does.
This action was part of Ukrzaliznytsia's campaign to draw attention to the importance of domestic travel and the role of railways in uniting Ukrainians.
Her fans caused a real stir under the post, flooding the 23-year-old athlete with enthusiastic comments.
It should be noted that at the 8th stage of the Diamond League in Paris, Mahuchikh broke the world record in women's high jump, which had been held since 1987. Yaroslava became the first woman in history to jump 2.10 meters.
A month later, Maguchikh won an Olympic gold medal in the high jump.
