Uzelkov's son commented on the death of his father, whom he publicly disowned and accused of lying
The son of former world boxing champion Viacheslav Uzelkov admitted that he was saddened by the news of his father's death, no matter how difficult his relationship with him was. Robert Uzelkov, 15, posted a short post on his Instagram, where he left a farewell comment.
"Viacheslav Uzelkov died today. No matter what kind of relationship we had, it's still painful and unpleasant," Robert wrote on his Instagram.
As a reminder, former WBA Intercontinental, IBO International, and WBO Intercontinental light heavyweight champion Viacheslav Uzelkov died on November 9 at the age of 46.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, on August 3, Robert publicly disowned his father and said that he suffered from insults from his closest relative. The student also accused Viacheslav of threats and lies. As the boy explained, he no longer wanted to tolerate the ex-boxer's behavior and advised everyone who stood up for his father to reconsider their position.
Earlier, Uzelkov's ex-wife, Maryna Borzhemska, a coach on the "Zvazheni ta Shchastlivi" project (STB), admitted that her ex-husband did not give her peace of mind, sent her angry messages, threatened and intimidated her.
Borzhemska and Uzelkov were married for 22 years, divorcing in 2018. The couple had two children: Robert (2009) and Olivia (2013).
