Former Shakhtar Donetsk captain Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has once again bent over backwards for the Russians. The assistant coach of Zenit took part in the team's friendly match with Kazakhstani Kairat, where he led the St. Petersburg team with the captain's armband.

The 45-year-old traitor to Ukraine wore a T-shirt with the inscription "Hero City Leningrad" and after the match, which ended in a 4-3 victory for the Russians, shared his enthusiastic emotions with the propaganda TV channel Match TV. Tymoshchuk said he was happy to accept the offer to captain Zenit in this match.

"I received an offer from the management of Zenit and Kairat. Of course, I accepted the offer with great desire and pleasure. So I'm glad it happened, especially since there was a good men's fight on the field, uncompromising. I think that overall, it was a good match. This is the most important thing. The only thing is that we conceded three goals. We will need to work on it, analyze the mistakes that were made. Physically, I felt good, I rolled into the game normally," Tymoshchuk said.

Earlier, the ex-footballer filed a lawsuit against Ukraine with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Switzerland, challenging the deprivation of all his awards and coaching license in our country.

Anatoliy refused to condemn Russia for the attack on Ukraine and only managed to squeeze out a small Instagram story in which he simply called for peace.

Later, it was reported that Tymoshchuk is trying to obtain a Romanian passport. The Zenit coach is trying to circumvent the sanctions imposed on him by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).

In addition, the network revealed that the traitor to Ukraine was recruited by the Federal Security Service (FSB), which is the reason for his silence on the war in Ukraine. The ex-footballer's ex-wife, Nadiya Navrotska, accused him of supporting Russia's invasion and involvement in the murders of Ukrainian children.
