Former Shakhtar Donetsk captain Anatoliy Tymoshchuk has once again bent over backwards for the Russians. The assistant coach of Zenit took part in the team's friendly match with Kazakhstani Kairat, where he led the St. Petersburg team with the captain's armband.

The 45-year-old traitor to Ukraine wore a T-shirt with the inscription "Hero City Leningrad" and after the match, which ended in a 4-3 victory for the Russians, shared his enthusiastic emotions with the propaganda TV channel Match TV. Tymoshchuk said he was happy to accept the offer to captain Zenit in this match.

"I received an offer from the management of Zenit and Kairat. Of course, I accepted the offer with great desire and pleasure.
