The head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Serhiy Rebrov, will not resign after the team's disastrous start at the Nations League. Answering the question at a press conference after the defeat from Czech Republic, the head coach only smiled ironically.
"Resignation? No, I'm not resigning yet, just wait a bit," the national team coach said in a video posted on the YouTube channel of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF).
In addition, Rebrov reacted quite sharply during the quick post-match interview when he heard the journalist's question "What is happening with the national team?"
"What's happening with the national team? I'm not satisfied with everything, but today I have no comments about the players. I am grateful to them. We played against a strong opponent at his home. We played, we prepared well, the guys showed more desire than in the match against Albania," said the expert, summarizing the match against the Czech Republic.
The day before, the Ukrainians lost their second match at the start of the League of Nations in Prague with a score of 3-2. Before that, they lost to the Albanians 1-2. The team is in the last place in the group, where Georgia has taken the lead.
