The war with the Russian aggressor claimed the life of Bogdan Mikhalaki, a 23-year-old soldier of the AFU from Izmail, Odessa region, who went to the front as a volunteer. The young defender was seriously wounded in the fighting with the enemy, from which he died in hospital on May 6.

In his small homeland, he was a famous violinist and the youngest sports instructor. The loss was announced by the Bessarabian Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness, where the guy worked before the war (to see photos and videos, scroll to the end of the news).

"Friends, very sad news came to us from the front, where our youngest sports instructor Bogdan Mikhalaki voluntarily went to fight for the freedom of Ukraine!" - the message reads.

The guy was known in Ismail as a street violinist. At the beginning of the war he volunteered to make trench candles for the defenders, and then he volunteered to fight against the aggressor.

According to acquaintances of Bohdan, in April 2023, an AFU soldier was seriously wounded during a battle with the occupants. He was unconscious in the hospital for some time.

Last Saturday, May 6, the heart of the young Ukrainian defender Bogdan Mykhalaka stopped beating.
