Famous Ukrainian singer Jerry Heil sang in the center of Kyiv near an electric transformer destroyed by Russians to draw attention to the constant shelling of the power system.

She performed live her hit song "Mriya", which symbolizes that the Ukrainian people have always had and will always have their own will and the enemy will not be able to break it.

"For me, it's symbolic: the Russians are trying to destroy Ukrainian happiness, but every day our power engineers and all Ukrainians are fighting for the light. We have been awake every night, but the unbreakable cannot be broken," Jerry Heil wrote in her Instagram post.

With her performance, the singer wants to draw the attention of Ukrainians to the work of power engineers who continue to provide people with electricity despite constant shelling and attacks on the power grid.

As a reminder, the installation "Battle for Light" was opened on Kontraktova Square in the capital. This is a transformer that burned down after a Russian missile attack in March 2024 on one of DTEK's thermal power plants.
