A fire and rescue unit destroyed by the occupiers was restored in Borodyanka

The fire and rescue unit in Borodyanka, which was looted and destroyed by Russian troops during the occupation, has beenrestored. Rescuers not only repaired the building but also symbolically decorated it.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. A mural dedicated to firefighters was created at the fire station, which literally rose from the ashes.

Chernihiv rescuer Vitaliy Voronyi created a powerful image on the walls of the tower: a rescuer on one side and a Cossack with a saber on the other. The mural also quotes Taras Shevchenko's poems.

This airbrush is not only a symbol of the courage and strength of firefighters, but also a tribute to the unity and resilience of Ukrainians.

"The 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit of Borodyanka is now a symbol of the ability to turn tragedy into beauty, like a phoenix," said representatives of the Kyiv Region State Emergency Service.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the rescuers for their work in the war. According to him, the existence of a system and people whose mission is to rescue is one of the main signs of true statehood.

On the morning of August 8, Russian terrorists targeted the territory of the State Emergency Service unit in Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region. The enemy troops used a UAV to carry out the attack.
