The Christmas season is approaching. And where else can you feel the spirit of Christmas as well as at a festive market? They are organized in all cities and towns of Europe, but some have already become truly legendary.

Express magazine, especially for those who want to take a vacation abroad for the holidays, has compiled the top ten Christmas markets in Europe. According to the publication's experts, these are the places where you can get the most vivid impressions.

To create its ranking, the publication relied on several indicators: snow in December, the number of stalls at the market, and the duration of the market in days. It also took into account the distance between the site and Santa's house in Lapland, Finland.

The result was a list of ten cities where you can have fun on holiday rides, drink delicious mulled wine and eat delicious national dishes in the atmosphere of a winter fairy tale. It is noteworthy that the list includes many fairs that are not held in the capitals of European countries.
