"In case the necessary conditions are created": Shoigu said Russia is ready for talks with the West on Ukraine

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said that Moscow is allegedly ready to start talks with the West on Ukraine and "further coexistence." Such readiness, he said, "remains in case the necessary conditions are created."

Shoigu made the statement while speaking at the 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum. His words are quoted by Russian propaganda media.

"In case the necessary conditions are created, we remain ready for political discussions on a realistic basis - both on the post-conflict settlement of the Ukrainian crisis and on the parameters of further coexistence with the West in general," the head of the aggressor country's defense ministry said.

Shoigu cynically added that the Russian Federation allegedly wants to "ensure equal relations between all nuclear powers - permanent members of the UN Security Council" because they bear "special responsibility" for peace and stability in the world.

"In order to form a fair, multipolar world order, it is necessary to update the international security architecture, to make it more stable," the Russian minister said, repeating the propaganda about a "multipolar" world.
