Usyk spoke about the rematch with Fury

The unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) has refused to use social media while preparing for his rematch with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs). Our compatriot noted that this helps him to fully concentrate on his work.

Usyk said this in an interview with Ready To Fight,  a platform he launched to help professional boxers. Oleksandr also noted that the current training camp will be different from the one he had before his first fight against Fury in late spring.

"Everything is fine, thank God! The mood is great, the team is together. There is something to work on. I am very glad to be in the training camp. I gave up social media, notifications in them. Because it takes a lot of time and distracts. Giving them up helps me to concentrate on my work. Each training is different from the other. We involve scientists, new psychologists. This will help me be better in the second fight with Tyson Fury," Usyk said.

We remind you that in the first fight, Oleksandr defeated Tyson by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute world heavyweight champion.

A month after the fight, on May 18, the Ukrainian was forced to give up his International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt. Prior to that, Oleksandr had spoken out categorically about what would happen if Tyson tried to disrupt the rematch.

He also shared his expectations for the second fight with Fury and responded to accusations of cheating during the May 18 fight. In addition, Oleksandr told what he learned from this fight.

The legendary Volodymyr Klychko shared his expectations from the rematch between Usyk and Fury. And ex-champion Amr Khan disagreed with the forecasts for the fighters' repeat. In addition, Russian Alexander Povetkin attributed the success of our compatriot to Russia.

In turn, Russian boxing coach Andrei Ivichuk called Tyson the winner of the upcoming rematch with Oleksandr. And the Ukrainian named the only boxer he is interested in fighting after the second fight with the Briton.

In addition, Joshua answered the question of who he would like to see win the rematch between Usyk and Fury. The Briton himself named his motivation for the second fight against our compatriot. He also told when he would start preparing for the fight.

Fury also responded to Usyk's team representatives when they compared him to dictator Vladimir Putin. And the Briton Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) wished the Ukrainian defeat.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the former coach of the Ukrainian boxing team Mykhailo Zavyalov said that Tyson Fury would put his career on the line in a rematch with Oleksandr Usyk. The Briton himself noted that he does not believe he will win on points in the second fight with the Ukrainian.
