Crispy and thin: fried pasties with minced meat for dinner
Homemade chebureks are a great dish for a hearty snack or even dinner, and they are easy to prepare. It is worth noting that to make them crispy, chefs advise adding vinegar to the dough!
The chef shared a recipe on Instagram for delicious, hearty, thin, and very crispy homemade chebureks.
Ingredients:
- 350 g flour (sift)
- 200 g of hot water
- 25 g of vegetable oil
- 5 g of salt
- 1 tsp of vinegar
- 400 g of minced meat
- 150 g of onions
- 100-150 g of water (the more water, the juicier it will be, but so that the minced meat keeps its shape and does not spread)
- 10 g of dill
- 15 g of salt
- 3 g of pepper
Method of preparation:
1. Dough: add vinegar to hot water, then pour this mixture into the flour, add salt, oil, and knead the dough first with a spoon, then mix it with your hands and wrap it in plastic wrap, let it rest for 30 minutes.
2. For the meat filling, mix all the ingredients.
3. Divide the dough into balls, and roll each one very thinly. Put the filling, and crush the edges with a fork.
4. Fry the chebureks in a large amount of heated oil (170-180 degrees) on both sides until golden brown and dry on paper towels after frying to remove excess oil!
