Norway

One of the best countries for mountain traveling. Even in the most remote corners you can find equipped areas with electricity, water supply and free Wi-Fi. And those who want to be closer to civilization, here they offer to rent cozy wooden houses. Most often, tourists choose the section of Kwalthorpe, located near the town of Molde.

The state allows tourists to travel freely and rest with tents. Local legislation follows the principle of "everyone has the right". However, it is definitely not a good idea to camp on private land, such as farmland or vegetable gardens.

Greece

A sovereign country in the south of the Balkan Peninsula. The most popular camping site is Coralli Camping, located on the island of Serifos. By the way, the territory is placed near the coast of the Aegean Sea.

An island nation in the northern part of the Atlantic Ocean. An Iceland Camping Card can be purchased within the country, allowing camping at about thirty-five locations. Access is valid for twenty-eight days.

One of the most popular sites for lovers of active leisure is Skaftafell Campground. Here travelers will find everything they need: modern toilets, areas with electricity and even private restaurants in season. In total, the area can accommodate around 400 tents. Large groups can book in advance.

Another picturesque location is Skógar Campsite. It is located near one of the most beautiful waterfalls - Skógarfoss. By the way, wild camping is allowed here. However, it is necessary to put up no more than three tents for one night. Also, be sure to take care of cleanliness after camping.

Estonia

The country is located on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. Legislation requires a permit for camping, but in practice it is a formality. The main thing is to follow the rules of ecological tourism.

Saaremaa Island in particular is famous for its forests, ideal for camping, and the beaches near Muriki are a real find for nature lovers. For those who don't want to take risks, there are plenty of tent sites in the picturesque area. If you prefer hiking, head to Lahemaa National Park. You can also travel here on horseback or by bicycle.

Spain

The country is located in the southwest of Europe. The state encourages the development of free tourism, but strictly prohibits campfires due to the high risk of forest fires. Neglecting this rule can result in significant fines.

When planning a hike to the Sierra Nevada, you should keep in mind the camping rules. You can put a tent only at an altitude of 1600 meters or more, at a distance of at least half a kilometer from information points. In addition, the campsite must be set up one hour before sunset and assembled 60 minutes after sunrise. It is not superfluous to obtain written permission. By the way, mountain ranges are characterized by eternal snow on the peaks.
