Photographer Steven Van der Hulst, 30, from the picturesque fishing village of Geysen in the Netherlands, spent 11 years pursuing his favorite hobby - photography - until it turned into blogging. Subsequently, the man decided to realize one of his life dreams and recorded 12 of the most beautiful corners of Europe.

Steven Van der Hulst traveled to different countries around the world and captured the most amazing places of each of them. His Instagram blog with 66 thousand followers is a real delight of fabulous landscapes.

The photographer claims that with his art he wants to "inspire people to visit the beautiful old cities of Europe" and "the desire to keep discovering new places and inspire others around the world to explore the hidden beauty of Europe, showing that there is more to see beyond the big cities." He told the Daily Mail.

1. Idstein, Germany

"Don't forget about this stunning gem, which is located just 39 minutes from Frankfurt am Main. This is Idstein, one of Germany's most famous and colorful old towns!" - notes the photographer.

2. Alsace Region, France

"Last time I received many questions about whether I had ever visited Alsace in France. The answer is yes, I have. I have been there several times, and a week ago I visited the capital of Alsace, Strasbourg. I still need to edit some photos of Strasbourg, but for now, enjoy these photos of a few villages in Alsace," he says.

3. Rothenburg am Tauber, Germany

The famous yellow crooked house is one of the most picturesque places in Rothenburg am Tauber. "I have visited it many times. The city is magical, the architecture is really unique and the bright colors are mesmerizing," says Steven Van der Hulst.

4. Cochem, Germany

"This is the Market Square of the city of Cochem. Look closely and you will see that not all the facades face the same direction, which makes this market square very unique. You can take a boat trip on the Moselle River to see a very different perspective. The local wines are exceptional and of course you cannot miss the castle of Cochem. It's a place that never gets old," notes the photographer.

5. Bernkastel-Kues, Germany

"The Moselle Valley is a fairytale region, where in the towns and villages it feels like you've entered a fairytale," commented a man.

6. Gardens at Place Nilique, Cabourg, France

"This is one of my favorite regions of France. Welcome to Normandy, a region with rich history, beautiful architecture, stunning landscape and delicious food!" - he writes.

7. Bad Wimpfen, Germany

Bad Wimpfen is a small spa town in Germany. It is considered a must-visit by the traveler.

8. Rouen, France

Stephen van der Hulst notes: "Rouen has so much to offer, from grand cathedrals to countless medieval half-timbered houses. Another attraction is the Gros-Horloge, a stunning golden clock that you can walk under."

9. Montreal, Germany

"In Montreal, fairy tales are real! A small village, but such great beauty. Montreal has made it to my list of favorite villages in Germany," he confessed.

10. Semur-en-Oxois, France

"Have you ever heard of this stunning hidden gem in France? It is certainly one of the most amazing medieval villages located in Burgundy. Built on a plateau that offers magnificent views of Burgundy. Welcome: Semur-en-Oxois," writes the traveler.

11. Dietz, Germany

This German town has a "rich history," as the photographer says, thanks in part to a 13th-century castle on a hillside.
