In the Kyiv region, near the village of Klavdievo, local residents found a place where wild orchids grow – the meat-red finger-root orchid. This species is listed in the Red Book of Ukraine.

This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv Ecological and Cultural Center. The plant is used in folk medicine and is a good honey plant.

"Recently, the KECC found a whole field of wild orchids near Klavdievo in the Kyiv region... This orchid is called the 'meat-red finger-root'. This orchid is destroyed by construction and plowing of meadows," the statement said.

Environmentalists added that about 50 orchids were found at this location.

Meat-red cuckoo's-foot (Meat-red finger-root) is a perennial and herbaceous plant with 2-4 lobed tubers. It belongs to the Orchidaceae family. It grows in forests, on forest edges, among shrubs, in mossy bogs, wet meadows, forest glades, and slopes.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, in America, on the territory of North Dakota, children found an extremely rare fossil of a young T-rex. The discovery was made by brothers Liam and Jesse Fisher, who were 7 and 10 years old at the time, and their 9-year-old cousin, Cayden Madsen.
