Why the first space tourist spacewalk launched a "conspiracy theory" and what conspiracy theorists are saying
One of the discussed topics of recent days is the historic spacewalk by amateur astronauts of the Space X Polaris Dawn mission. However, the network began to call this event a "conspiracy theory".
The Internet is rapidly spreading the opinion that Ilon Musk 's company faked a spacewalk similar to the staged moon landing conspiracy. After the video of Polaris Dawn astronauts in the space vacuum appeared, conspiracy theorists said that this is not real footage, writes DailyMail.

As a reminder, the Polaris Dawn mission launched into space on Sept. 10. And on the third day, mission commander and sponsor Jared Isaacman and mission specialist Sarah Gillis stepped outside Crew Dragon in suits never before tested in space.
SpaceX streamed the nearly two-hour process live on its Web page X. Although the spacewalk itself lasted about 10 minutes.

Once in outer space, Isaacman did not fly outside the ship, as some viewers expected, but only stood on a special Skywalker platform without letting go of the handrails. Similar actions conducted and Sarah Gillis, who visited the open space a few minutes after Jared.
Immediately after these shots were broadcast, viewers began to comment pointedly on what they saw. "This looks as fake as when NASA faked the moon footage," wrote X user James Doty.

Some of the correspondents have come to believe that computer games about space look more believable than footage from Space X.
The commenters claim that space flights - and the images and footage taken during them - have been fake since the Apollo mission.
Conspiracy theorists claim that certain aspects of the Apollo mission photos - such as the orientation of the shadows, the lack of stars and the waving of the American flag - are proof that the moon landing was fake.
Some have called the moon landing photo a fake because of missing stars, incorrect shadows, and a strange flag, even though all of these claims have long been explained by experts.

Interestingly, conspiracy theories around the moon landing have been discussed for over 50 years, despite a great deal of factual information proving these theories wrong.
The claims and comments surrounding the Polaris Dawn mission are just isolated speculation. After all, there is no actual evidence to support the idea that SpaceX falsified this spacewalk or any aspect of the Polaris Dawn mission.
