Earlier in the company revealed the first details of the cheap auto. The new VW ID.1 will replace the Volkswagen Up. That is, the car will turn out to be a compact hatchback.
And, as it is easy to guess from the name, the novelty will join the ID lineup and take a basic place in it. The company believes that the car will attract young buyers.
The price of up to 20 000 euros will contribute to this. Because of the cheapness of the trim and equipment Volkswagen ID.1 will have to simplify - autopilot and the most modern technologies the car will not get. Debut planned for 2027.
