They make mostly affordable cars: the best automobile manufacturers are named

VW Group has been the best automobile manufacturer in the European market since the beginning of 2023. It includes companies that sell affordable models. The company increased its performance by 24.3%.

In total, over 1.4 million new cars produced by the VW Group were sold in the European Union in the first six months of 2023. According to Ukravtoprom, 597,791 vehicles were sold directly by the Volkswagen brand.

Stellantis took second place. It includes manufacturers of affordable cars such as Fiat, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, and many others. The group leader is Peugeot with 323,086 vehicles sold in the EU market.

Renault Group took third place with more than 605 thousand vehicles. Renault overtook Peugeot with 329,479 vehicles sold since the beginning of 2023.

Hyundai Group (456,801 units) and Toyota Group (369,872 units) rounded out the top five most successful automobile manufacturers on the market.
