"There are problems after the first fight". Usyk vs Fury rematch may not take place: details become known
Former world heavyweight champion Johnny Nelson suggests that Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk will not fight again. According to the popular British boxing analyst, Tyson risks not recovering from his defeat in the second fight.
Nelson recalled that before the first fight, Fury had humiliated the Ukrainian in every way possible, calling him a "small, scrappy middleweight." However, sometimes such self-confidence backfires.
"Sometimes, if you don't respect your opponent and call him all kinds of names, the opposite happens. How can it all go on now? And if I'm honest with you, I'll be surprised if the rematch takes place. If it does take place and the same things happen again, how does Tyson Fury, as a person and as a fighter, realize this? How will he deal with it? Because I think he has problems with that after the first fight," Nelson said in an interview with Boxing King Media, as translated by Vringe.
It will be recalled that in the first fight, Usyk defeated Fury by split decision - 114:113, 113:114, 115:112 - and became the absolute world heavyweight champion.
