From now on, the American streaming service Netflix will publish a report twice a year called What We Watched, which summarizes the hours of viewing for each project on the platform. This will allow filmmakers to better understand the interest of viewers.
The first such rating summarized the results of views from January to June 2023. In total, it covered more than 18,000 TV series, movies, and other shows, but the top 10 positions were taken by series projects.
The debut season of The Night Agent, about an FBI officer who unwittingly becomes a member of a conspiracy in the White House, won the absolute championship. 812 million hours of viewing were recorded.
In second place was the second season of the drama project Ginny & Georgia, about a mother with a difficult life and her teenage daughter.
The bronze medal went to the South Korean series The Glory, whose first season was watched for almost 623 million hours.
The fourth place went to the hit of 2022, Wednesday, which was still popular in 2022, and the top five spin-offs of The Bridgertons, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
The fourth season of You was ranked sixth with more than 440 million hours. It was followed by the third season of La Reina del Sur and the third season of Outer Banks.
The ninth place was taken by the first season of the aforementioned Ginny & Georgia project, and the tenth place went to the debut season of the action movie FUBAR.
