The Russian Defense Ministry is satisfied with the results of the attack, which claimed the lives of at least five Ukrainians and injured dozens of others

On the morning of January 23, Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Residential buildings in Kharkiv, Kyiv, and Dnipropetrovsk, as well as critical infrastructure in Sumy region, were hit.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the residential high-rise buildings were "military-industrial complex facilities that produce missiles and components for them." The ministry, headed by Sergei Shoigu, also boasted of "achieving the goal of the strike," which killed civilians and injured dozens of civilians.

"This morning, the Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike with long-range precision weapons of air and ground-based systems against the facilities of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine that produce missiles and components for them, ammunition, and explosives," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a so-called "summary."

As a result of the aggressor state's terrorist attack on peaceful Ukrainian cities, residential buildings were destroyed and damaged, and social and critical infrastructure facilities were destroyed. Five civilians were killed and dozens were injured.

As follows from the Russian Ministry of Defense's "report", this is exactly what they expected: the "defense ministry" is completely satisfied with the consequences of the attack.

"The purpose of the strike was achieved. All the designated targets have been hit," Shoigu's department boasted.
