In Novodnistrovsk, Chernivtsi region, the 2024/2025 school year will begin on August 19, 2024. Children will not have fall and spring vacations, but will have long winter vacations.
The first semester will last until November 29, and the second from February 3 to June 6. This was reported by Novodnistrovske Radio on Facebook.

Start of school year postponed in Chernivtsi region
The local authorities made this decision based on the recommendations of the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) due to the critical state of the power system.
Schools in Ivano-Frankivsk may also have to postpone their school dates. According to Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv, it could be August 1 or 15. He noted that disturbing things are going on in the country, which may affect the schedule of the start of classes.
