Russians attacked Kharkiv again: first details

On the evening of May 24, Russian troops shelled Kharkiv and Kharkiv district again. Several explosions were heard, and the enemy used rockets.

"Kharkiv and the district, be careful. The enemy is striking," the head of the regional state administration, Oleh Syniehubov, wrote on Telegram.

The alert began at 17:00 on Friday, around the same time the first arrivals were made. The alarm was lifted in the region at 17:40.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov also confirmed the explosions. "Be careful!" he urged Ukrainians in a post on his Telegram channel.

According to unofficial online monitoring communities, the occupiers could have carried out this attack from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.

– On the morning of May 23, the Russian Federation struck about 15 times in Kharkiv. Seven people were killed and 21 were injured. There was a direct hit on the printing house, and the facilities of "Ukrzaliznytsia" and a utility company were also hit. Zolochiv and Liubotyn in the region were also hit, and there were also victims.

– On May 24, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Kharkiv for a visit. He held a meeting on the operational situation in the region and preparations for the heating season and visited the printing house destroyed by the Russians.

– The President noted that this strike shows that Russia is fighting against humanity and all aspects of normal life. As a result of the shelling, people were killed and injured, and 50,000 books were burned.
