Renault and Toyota in the lead: which cars are popular in Ukraine
The most popular cars in Ukraine are inexpensive ones. Buyers are especially fond of crossovers from well-known brands such as Renault and Toyota. Such cars are considered very practical.
Affordable models are once again leading the sales rankings. According to statistics from Ukravtoprom, the market for new cars has amounted to 53 thousand units since the beginning of 2024. This is 21% more than in 2023.
The most popular cars in Ukraine:
- Renault Duster (5060 units);
- Toyota RAV4 (3402 units);
- Mazda CX-5 (1459 units);
- Volkswagen ID.4 (1410 units);
- Kia Sportage (1315 units);
- Hyundai Tucson (1078 units);
- Toyota Camry (1069 units);
- Skoda Octavia (998 units);
- Volkswagen Touareg (966 units);
- Skoda Kodiaq (961 units).

The leaders are well-known manufacturers of affordable cars. The top two positions are occupied by the familiar Renault Duster and Toyota RAV4. Another popular crossover, the Mazda CX-5, took third place.
Toyota Camry and Volkswagen Touareg also made it into the top ten. These models stand out in the ranking among less expensive cars.
