One of the best teachers in the world shared why it's worth for students to watch "Dovbush"

Artur Proydakov, a Ukrainian language and literature teacher, explained why the movie "Dovbush" is more effective than 10 years of Ukrainian language study in school. According to him, older students should watch the movie because such video projects contribute to the popularization of the Ukrainian language and culture.

One of the world's best teachers stated this in an interview with Yevhen Pronin. According to Proydakov, Ukrainian-made films such as "Dovbush" and "The Rising Hawk" contribute to shaping the success of Ukrainians.

"Children hear certain dialects, see a hero who doesn't lose, doesn't die, but ends up with his beloved by his side and rides a horse against the backdrop of the beautiful Carpathian mountains, and children say: 'Wow! Wow! Cool!'" Proydakov said. "Ukrainian cinema, which is large-scale and not second-rate, showcases beautiful special effects. And finally, you can't say that 'this is Ukrainian crap, and Hollywood is great.' When you don't see the difference between them, you develop respect for Ukrainian films."

He added that thanks to such films, schoolchildren form a vision that it is possible to win and gain recognition.

Earlier, OBOZ.UA reported that Ukrainization would intensify: the language ombudsman took on schools and prepared recommendations for parents.
