New rules in duty free at the airport of a popular resort due to tourists from Russia

The duty free of Margarita Island, Venezuela, imposed restrictions on the sale of rum. However, as it turned out, the new rules apply only to Russians.
This was reported by the Russian media. And all because of the great affection of tourists from the Russian Federation for alcohol, which even borders on aggression.
A traveler who recently traveled through Margarita claims that there were no such rules before. "You buy alcohol, and they only give you a ticket with a number on it," he said, adding that the bottle is given to you just before you board the plane.
Coupons instead of "souvenirs" are issued only to those passengers traveling to Russia. For everyone else, duty free operates without special conditions. The innovations were approved after fights between Russian tourists that arose because they did not want to take rum home. Instead, the Russians began drinking alcohol in the middle of the airport.
Earlier, OBOZ.UA told about how a Russian tourist was sentenced to a year in prison in Cyprus because of the death of a child.
