Liver in tomato sauce: turns out very juicy and soft
Chicken liver can be used to make salads, appetizers, or pates. It can also be simply fried with vegetables and onions or stewed in the oven with sauces.

Ingredients:
- 650 g of chicken liver
- 1 tbsp of corn starch
- 3 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp of soy sauce
- 2 cloves of garlic (squeeze through a press or grate on a fine grater)
- 1 tsp of ground paprika
- salt to taste
- 1 medium onion (chop finely)
- 70 g of tomato paste or sauce
- 1 tsp of honey
- dill, if desired (chop finely)
Method of preparation:
1. Wash the liver, peel, remove fat, and cut it into strips. After that, beat lightly.
2. Combine soy sauce, starch, oil, garlic, a little salt and paprika in a bowl. Stir well, add the liver and mix well. Cover with a lid or cling film and leave for 30 minutes.
3. Heat a frying pan and, without adding oil, fry the liver over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
4. Add the onion and fry together for 2-3 minutes. At this time, make the tomato sauce: mix the tomato paste, dill and honey. Pour the sauce over the liver. Reduce the heat and fry everything for 5 minutes. After that, cover with a lid, turn off the heat and leave to stand for 15 minutes.
Serve with mashed potatoes or rice!
