If you want to finally learn how to cook mushrooms properly and significantly reduce the time spent on it, we recommend reading this article to the end. As it turned out, most housewives do a lot of manipulations when cooking mushrooms that are not only unnecessary but also significantly spoil their taste.

Clodagh McKenna, a chef and TV presenter on the This Morning YouTube channel, talked about the most common mistakes when cooking mushrooms. If you stop repeating them, the taste of the finished dish will change dramatically for the better.

According to her, there is no need to clean and wash mushrooms. Getting them under running water can change their structure. And then, during frying, all the water will come out, resulting in the mushrooms being boiled instead of fried.

The fact is that mushrooms are somewhat similar in structure to a sponge. Thus, they absorb a large amount of moisture. And it, in turn, begins to come out of the mushrooms when they are subjected to heat treatment. The best way to cook mushrooms, says the chef, is to sauté them with chopped garlic. This is when the flavor of the product is fully revealed.
