Delicious "Shawarma" salad with Chinese cabbage and pita bread: a recipe for a snack and lunch
Homemade salads can be made from any product, but the base should always be either fresh or baked vegetables. If you want a hearty version of the dish, add cheese, eggs, seafood, meat, fillets, tuna, and fish.
The cook shared on Instagram a recipe for a delicious and satisfying "Shawarma" salad made with chicken fillet, Chinese cabbage, and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 500 g of chicken fillet
- spices for chicken, dried garlic, salt
- thin pita bread
- 300 g of Chinese cabbage
- 1 large fresh cucumber
- 2 medium tomatoes
- half of a blue onion
- 150 g. of Korean carrots
- mayonnaise
Method of preparation:
1. Bake or boil the chicken fillet, and cut it.
2. Cut the pita bread into pieces and dry in the oven.
3. Finely chop the cabbage, and cucumber into cubes, tomatoes into slices, and onion into rings.
4. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients, add mayonnaise, spices and mix.
