Children think they are beasts: who are therians and why it is more dangerous than quadrobics

Therians or therianthropy is one of the subculture's trends. Its representatives believe that they have the qualities of both humans and animals. Quadrobics, on the other hand, only imitate various sounds and movements that mimic animal behavior.

In particular, therians most often refer to cats and wolves. OBOZ.UA has collected information on how to recognize representatives of this subculture among schoolchildren.

Therians rarely pick on underwater creatures. However, they consider themselves predators, like wolves or bears. For the most part, they consider themselves to be the same animal species. Therians feel like animals on a spiritual level, but they know they are human.

The subculture dates back to 1992, when during conversations online, forum participants claimed that they felt partly like animals.

At the same time, it is reported that in a British school, a student identified themselves as a wolf. It turned out that they have a condition when a person feels that their body belongs to the wrong species. Therefore, the administration of the educational institution recognized this identification, Dailystar reports.

Despite this recognition, last year many students were denied such identification partially because children were relieving themselves on the floor of the school.

Quadrobic culture is becoming increasingly popular in Ukraine. This is one of the trends of modern schoolchildren, combining imitation of various sounds and movements that mimic the behavior of animals. The peculiarity of this movement is the movement of children on four limbs and performing tricks such as jumping over obstacles or running fast.
