Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband, actor Ben Affleck, and his childhood friend Matt Damon will star together in the Netflix crime thriller "RIP". The film will be produced by Artists Equity, a studio the two actors founded in November 2022.

They previously starred together in the films "Dogma" (1999), "Good Will Hunting" (1997), "The Last Duel" (2021), and "Air Jordan" (2023), so this new collaboration is a reunion of the actors in a joint work, which will be their fifth. Netflix, the streaming service involved in the production, has not yet announced even an approximate release date.

"RIP" will be directed by Joe Carnahan, who has worked on such films as "Smokin' Aces", "Death Wish", "Bad Boys", and "Copshop". Almost nothing is known about the plot of the upcoming film, except that it is a crime thriller. Accordingly, there is no trailer yet.
