Sowing calendar for January: favorable days for seedlings
A third of winter is over and the new garden season is closer than it seems. Experienced gardeners begin preparations for the sowing season as early as January. In particular, you can already prepare seedlings for spring and sow flowers that take a long time to germinate and take root.
You can check the order of work with the sowing calendar published by OBOZ.UA. It lists favorable dates for working with seeds and seedlings, as well as good dates for any other gardening activities and preparing them for spring.
Favorable days for sowing and planting are January 3-9, 14, 15, 18-20, 23-25, 30, 31.
Unfavorable days for gardening are January 10-13, 25.
Good days for working with root crops:
- radish - 3-7, 23, 24, 30, 31;
- onions for greens, chives - 3-7, 14-20, 23, 24, 30, 31;
- garlic - 3-9, 30, 31;
- leeks - 6, 7, 30, 31;
